Dear Nobles,

It is indeed a great pleasure to be selected to serve as your Potentate for the year 2008. I am very excited about the prospects for the coming year. It is also very humbling to think you would trust such great responsibility to my care and I pledge to you my very best efforts. There will be many wonderful opportunities available for each of us to participate in spreading the story of the Shrine and Masonry in general. Opportunities to introduce others to our great philanthropies and our fun activities. My challenge to you is to grasp the opportunities and help Sabbar to soar. Reach out to your Son, Grandson, Neighbor and Friend. Tell them what Masonry and the Shrine has done for you. Describe to them the warm feeling you get when you meet a stranger and recognize him as "Brother". Tell the story over and over again.

Nobles, Thank you also for electing a leadership team that has a passion for the success and future of Sabbar. This team is committed to continuing the progress that has begun. Progress in getting new members, progress in retaining our present members and progress in reinstating those who have dropped out for various reasons. Progress in our social activities and progress in our fraternal relations with each other. It is our sincere desire to attain a positive membership gain for 2008. This can only be done with the complete participation of each of you. A commitment to get at least one new member this year, a commitment to bring one inactive member and introduce him around, a commitment to be an active part of the greatest fraternity on earth.

Watch for postings of current news events and happenings. The web site will be one source of up to date information. We will also be utilizing e-mail for reminders and rapidly changing activities and announcements.
