The Legion of Honor is a
military-style uniformed unit of SABBAR Shrine, exclusively composed of Nobles
who are either honorably discharged veterans or currently serving members of
active or reserve components of the armed forces of the
Our purposes include: Perpetuation of the memory of those who have made he supreme sacrifice in service of their country; Honoring all that have served; Instilling loyalty to the Imperial Potentate, our Illustrious Potentate and SABBAR Shrine, and to Freemasonry; Promoting a spirit of patriotism and love of country and its flag; Cultivating a sense of camaraderie among the various Shrine and Masonic organizations; Supporting and upholding the noble principles of the Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (AAONMS); Assisting the Illustrious Potentate, SABBAR Divan, and AAONMS Officers at Official functions, including Ceremonials, patriotic ceremonies and parades (we carry the “colors”); and participating in or performing other duties and functions as may be requested by our Illustrious Potentate.
